Agni Mudra (Also known as Surya Mudra) – Gesture Of The Fire: 


The postures control the flow of energy in the body (panchtatva), i.e, maintain the balance of earth, water, air, fire and sky. Some postures are done through hands. One of which is Agni mudra. This pose stimulates fire inside the body. Agni Mudra  can helps in curing diseases of mucus, nose and breath. This pose also stimulates thyroid gland.

 Steps of mudra : First of all , place mat in clean and flat place. Now sit in padmasana and then make fist of fingers with the thumb of both your hands out. Then combine the top of both your hands together. And keep your palms down. Keeping the eyes closed will make breathing normal and keep your mind focused on your breathing speed and posture. Now stay in this state for 15-45 minutes.
